By Road:
There are regular bus services to Uttarakhand from its neighbouring states. If you are travelling from Delhi or via Delhi, private buses also run from there. Two routes can be availed from Delhi which covers a distance of approx. 433 and 405 kms each.
You can take a bus till Kausani and a cab / shared local transport till Someshwar.
By Train:
The nearest railway station to Someshwar at a distance of 130 kms is Kathgodam. Well connected to other major cities like Delhi, Lucknow and Kolkata, there are frequent trains to this area. One can easily avail a bus or taxi from Kathgodam to the required destination.
By Air:
Pantnagar Airport serves as the nearest airbase to Kausani almost 162 kms away. Taxis are easily available to the town from outside the airport. However, the nearest major airports are in Dehradun and New Delhi.

Best time to visit Someshwar:
